My Ted ‘The King’
Saturday 10 August 2024, I said goodbye to my dog Ted after 16 years. I had been dreading this moment but knew it was inevitable.
Teddy wasn’t just a pet, he was my best friend and a family member. My soulmate, unconditional love whether I had good or bad days, He sat by my side through the best and worst times and gave me a consistency in my life. He lived a life of true service, giving each of us unwavering love, comfort and loyalty.
It’s impossible to explain what he meant to me in words properly. The love was too big and bold. I will miss looking into his big brown eyes and snuggling up to him on the sofa. He was a pure, wise and beautiful soul.
Your song has ended Ted but your melody will live on in our hearts forever.
